Investing in your children's social and emotional wellness is providing them with the tools to explore the world around them before feeling empowered and safe enough to step into it as a grounded, rational-thinking and resilient young person who is equipped with emotional intelligence and self-awareness. With 7 years of global experience working as a whole school counsellor, I have worked with over twenty nationalities with equally as diverse presenting problems and unique personalities. I have vast expertise and knowledge of the various developmental milestones to support your child or young person through their time of unrest, and which in turn will help the whole family to gain more harmony. Whether it be that your son or daughter is experiencing milder issues, such as a lack of confidence or friendship issues, or if they have been suffering from anxiety, depression, image insecurities, self-harm or suicidal ideation, or even behavioural challenges that are affecting you as a parent; I can work with your young person as they explore their thoughts and feelings. One-to-one counselling provides a professional, safe and trusting environment in which usually encourages them to develop coping strategies and increased confidence, awareness and general mental wellbeing. This time spent in professional therapy can also be a profound method of preventative measures to ensure your child's mental health issues do not worsen, and to ensure that they have the skills to take away and use when facing present and future difficulties. ****You can also choose the '6 sessions of short term or 12 sessions of longer term therapy booking options - both are at a discounted rate rather than booking weekly sessions, however this option is recommended for ad hoc/crisis requirements****
